FELICIA NUGROHO, Head of Brio
specializes in Customer Service training
Felicia heads Brio, Maverick’s training division, bringing more than 13 years experience in a career that spans in consumer and market analysis, management and training. She started off her professional life in 1995 as an analyst with Australia’s largest market research company, Roy Morgan Research, in Melbourne, Australia. She then moved to Geospend (a division of Australia Post), then Pathfinder Solutions (recently acquired by Deloitte Australia as part of Deloitte Analytics Group) where she built up her knowledge in market and business analysis. After spending 15 years in Australia, Felicia returned to Indonesia in 2003, where she joined Roy Morgan Research Indonesia and was appointed General Manager soon after. In 2006, Felicia joined Tirian International, a leading international organizational learning and development company, where she was in charge of Business Development. The period between 2008-2010, Felicia devoted her time fully to write a biography of her late father and the franchise business He built across Indonesia. She published the book in 2010.

ONG HOCK CHUAN, Technical Advisor of Maverick
specializes in Media Handling, Crisis and Issues Management training

Ong Hock Chuan has been in communications, first as a journalist and then as a Public Relations counselor, for the past 30 years. He is the founder of Maverick, one of the largest independent communications consultancy in Indonesia that is challenging and changing the way public relations is practiced in the nation and its love affair with social media.

Ong started his career as a journalist with The Star in Malaysia and has worked as a journalist in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Indonesia. He is a Nuffield Press Fellow at Cambridge University.

Ong was a Managing Director of Ogilvy PR in Singapore before he moved to Jakarta to setup Maverick. He specializes in strategy, crisis and issues management for top executives and have worked with some Fortune 500 listed companies. He is an accomplished trainer in media handling, crisis and issues management and interpersonal communications.

Ong has been interviewed by the BBC, BC, Reuters and other news organizations for his views on current affairs and social media use in Indonesia as well as his assessment of the performance of companies facing crisis-like situations. He is a regular contributor to the English version of Tempo, Indonesia’s largest and most respected current affairs magazine. He has also been a speaker at the first Malaysia-Asean Regional Bloggers Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Pakistan’s first Social Media Summit in Karachi and has been invited to Kazakhstan’s social media summit in June.

Under Ong’s leadership, Maverick won a PR Agency of the year in 2011.

NUR SHILLA CHRISTIANTO, Vice President of Maverick

specializes in Media Handling, Crisis and Issues Management training

Shilla brings seven years of experience counseling mostly blue-chip/multinational companies in strategizing and implementing their corporate communications and CSR programs. She also specializes in crisis and issues management and is an accomplished media handling skills trainers. She had worked on projects involving litigation support for high profile cases and had developed crisis management plans for FMCG companies in Indonesia. She is now also managing the day-to-day operations of Maverick, which includes coordination with its different division to provide an integrated communications consultation to the clients. She earned a Master of Global Media Communications degree from The University of Melbourne in 2010 on a full scholarship provided by Maverick.

 

 

HANNY KUSUMAWATI, Head of Raconteur
specializes in Social Media training

Hanny has more than 5 years experience in both corporate communications and marketing communications industry. In Raconteur, she’s focusing in helping companies utilize social media to find and tell their stories; making it an indispensable part of their overall business strategy. As the event manager of Indonesia’s first national-scale blogger gathering Pesta Blogger 2007-2009 she has established close contacts with Indonesia’s most prominent bloggers and netters. Hanny is also the founder of an award-winning online social movement, Coin a Chance!, and has been invited as speakers, trainers, and discussion facilitators in different social media and technology events, including Pakistan’s First  International Social Media Summit in Karachi and Tech Camp Jakarta. She is also delivering social media trainings for corporations/brands who would like to know more about social media as a tool to help businesses achieving their long-term objective. Hanny holds a BA in Communications Studies from The London School of Public Relations—Jakarta. She loves to read, write, blog, bake, sketch, travel, play guitar and enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

JONATHAN TENGGARA, Manager of Raconteur
specializes in Social Media training
Jonathan is the person who decipher numbers and let companies make sense of all the graphs, charts and statistics when it comes to social media. In Raconteur, he is in charge of Data Analysis, Digital Technology, Search Engine Marketing, and Social Media Monitoring. He also deliver hands-on trainings to front-liners on how to use social media for different purposes: from monitoring conversations during crisis to handling complaints. Jonathan holds a BSBA in Information System from Suffolk University, Boston, USA. He started his career with Spidersplat Inc., as a Junior SEM Consultant where he advised Spidersplat’s clients on how to optimize their websites search result on search engine. He then moved to Cheng & Tsui as a Website & Technology Specialist where he co-built an E-commerce website. Before joining Raconteur, he worked as a Wireline Junior Field Engineer at Schlumberger Limited, Oman. Jonathan loves hanging out, playing PlayStation, watching soccer match, taking care of Raconteur’s goldfishes and catching up with the latest gadget (read: spend on it).
